Born to Adapt has partnered up with Broken Arrow Skyrace to widen the field for adaptive athletes. Taking place on Friday, June 18-21, 2026, Broken Arrow is holding 20 spots for adaptive athletes.
Overview. Broken Arrow is holding 20 spots for adaptive athletes in their 18k distance. Even though the 18k has been sold out for months, we're excited to offer these adaptive athletes reserved entries. As part of their overall Inclusivity Initiative, it is their goal to widen their representation each June, in this case, specifically in regards to adaptive athletes. If you are an adaptive athlete and would like to join, please fill out their application available.
Application Process. The application is open until May 1st, whereby those selected will be notified with instructions on how to register. Please note that these are paid entries, but held to assure representation by our adaptive friends. Look for adaptive specific activations on race weekend, with more information coming soon.
Notes on applying from Broken Arrow: “Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.”
